About 200 Hour Yoga Training at Satvik Yoga School
Hatha yoga traditional yoga and Iyengar yoga class is conducted so students can learn basic asana with sun solution with standing poses all sequence of hatha yoga about 40 different asana and closing sequences.
ART OF TEACHING
In the Art of teaching we learn the introduction of class sun-solution with 12 steps all standing asana teaching and its instruction and adjustments. Four tools teaching which are.
1. How to demonstrate asana.
2. How to instruct.
3. Adjustments, how to adjust asana with props or hand and with safety tools.
4. Observations to whom to teach pose and what they need according to students physically need what they required with feedback.
We train students how to instruct so they develop confidence in instruction and adjustment they will repeat instruction with the teacher so they can improve their teaching skills
ANATOMY
We learn in the 1st week of SKELETON SYSTEM. we cover the Axial and Appendicular skeleton. We learn about cells and four types of tissues. We will understand about Tandon, Ligament and the type of Cartilages. Types of bones and joints. Anatomical name of joints. 3 different plans of body Sagittal plan, Transverse plane and Chronical plan and Directional terms. Types of joint movements.
YOGA PHILOSOPHY
Introduction of yoga, History of yoga, Difference between Hatha yoga and Ashtanga. Bhakti yoga, Karma yoga
2nd WEEK
We teach start ashtanga yoga till Nava (boat pose) asana and some beginner vinyasa flow sequence for with standing pose and sitting pose with different sequence and we also conduct one yin yoga and one restorative yoga class so student can rejuvenate there body from dynamic practise on 2nd satuday morning they will practice Shat kriya like Jala neti, Sutra neti, Vaman, Kapal bahti, Nauli. The idea of these kriya is to clean our internal body. Which helps to turn our mind calm and take out all toxins from our stomachs as well.
ART OF TEACHING
2nd week of Art of teaching Ashtanga yoga primary series and instruction and its adjustment and Vinyasa flow themes and its practise.
ANATOMY
We learn MUSCULAR SYSTEM on the 2nd of the week. We cover important ligaments in the human body. We understand about the major 36 skeleton muscles and where is the origin and insertion of these muscles how they engage in asana.
YOGA PHILOSOPHY
On the 2nd of the week, here study in details of Yama Niyama and 10 pranayam philosophy.
3rd WEEK
Here we learn the full primary series and some intermediate levels with some standing balancing poses with advanced poses.
ART OF TEACHING
Here we learn the ethics of the yoga quality of the teacher and make a sequence and practice to prepare for your exam.
YOGA PHILOSOPHY
Here 5 prana 5 elements 7 chakra nadi etc.
Last week. here we have written and practical exam student must have attend the all exam give the feed back etc lead general class to group teacher will atten the exam he will give you feed back about how was your class and what student's need to work on. All day they are free to practise in the yoga hall Take their sequence and practise with help from a fellow.
